Looting
corpses & killing players
|
When you win a fight, you can loot
the non-player characters corpses
and pick up the bounty. Just click on
the corpse to loot it.
Corpses can only be looted once the combat where they lost has
finished, since you must exit the "fight screen" to be able to loot.
  You can
only loot Non-Player Character (NPC) corpses. If you defeat a PLAYER in
combat, you'll get some money (if any) and, as a "trophy", a tag item
identifying him / her. So you can have as many "tags of John Doe" as
the number of times you defeat him / her in a fight.
Special
rules for corpses
|
Those are several rules affecting corpses and 'looting rights':
- If a player kills a Non-Player Character that provides some
type of quest conversation, the NPC will be given a 5-minute protection
from being killed again, so other players can talk to him / her.
- A corpse will persist for twelve (12) minutes if nobody
loots it. After that time, it will disappear and so you will cannot
loot it.
- Once the combat
has finished, any corpse is only available to be looted during
the first 6 minutes by the player that did more damage, or if in group,
by any player of the group that defeated the poor soul.
- After those 6 minutes, if anybody looted and left anything
on the corpse, the same player or any other member of the group can
loot again the corpse for one (1) minute more.
- After this rule of 6 + 1 minutes rule, any other player
-having participated on the fight or not- can loot the corpse on the
remaining 6 minutes, until the minute 12. Then the corpse will
disappear.
- If a non-player character
defeats another non-player character, the corpse cannot be
looted, and will disappear in a few moments.
